North Pole Ice Park

Before we left North Pole I took some pictures of the Ice Park near Santa's house. Things are busy up here at that time of year.
Here is a carving of the jolly old elf about to make a training run. I caught him about 9 am in the morning. As you can see we don't have a lot of day light at that time of year. Fortunately the days will start getting longer 4 days after this picture was taken. You can see better, and additional pictures if you Google the North Pole Ice Park.

Here is Santa. It will likely be March before he begins to melt away.
This carving is made of several blocks and is about 6 feet tall.

Neat pics. I see you guys are getting some warmer weather while we suffer through record lows. :)

Has North Pole always had an ice park or is this new?
