Spring Break

Patsy and I took the week-end of Spring break and went to Anchorage. Above is a picture of the Nenana River. It froze over when the water was higher and now that the water has receded, the ice has fallen in. We saw Caribou on the way and got this picture. (Below) Around McKinley Park we saw a Coyote cross the road with a rabbit in it's mouth. We stopped after we passed to try to get a picture but we were too late.

On the way home I took a picture where McKinley should have been. All that could be seen is this un-named mountain in the background and clouds where McKinley should have been. Below is a picture of the Famous Nenana Tripod. When will the ice go out this spring?
