"Gone Fishing"

Last Friday Brian and his dog Dawson took Ed and I fishing on Quartz Lake.
It was a warm, sunny, fantastic August day. We all had a great time.

Dawson spent a good deal of the day sleeping in the shade of the dash board and front seats but he found the duck very interesting. He is a smart pup and fun to be around.

Ed and I bait up!

Ed caught the first fish and Brian landed one a little while later. I had lost the first lure I tied on (probably to a weed) and was fielding comments about my choice of lures, bait, and fishing choices in general.

After a lunch we tried trolling and my luck changed...... Fish On!
